Our 5 – 7 Lb Fruiting Blocks & @Home Grow Kits are among the largest “grow kits” on the market today. These are identical in size and composition to those that many professional growers use in their commercial operations. Our blocks arrive at your door, as the name implies, Ready to Fruit (Unless otherwise specified. A period of recovery may be necessary after shipping)

Basic Instructions:

Simply cut 1 – 3 X in the bag, or cut the top off above the filter patch, press out the air, place in a humid environment with diffused (natural) light, and mist regularly to maintain a high relative humidity – usually once or twice a day. You want the surrounding environment humid, not the block itself wet. There is enough water from production to maintain at least 1 great flush as long as there is a sufficiently humid environment.

Yield:

Yield is highly dependent on species/strain, care and growing conditions, but these blocks are made from roughly 3 Lbs of dry materials and should reliably produce upwards of 3 Lbs. of fresh mushrooms over a couple of flushes with proper care.
