Our Non-GMO Nutritional Yeast is a deactivated pure strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae grown under carefully controlled conditions in the Midwest USA on enriched purified cane and beet molasses. After the fermentation process, the yeast is washed, pasteurized, and then drum dried.
